Sécurité Civile

The French state agency Sécurité Civile's firefighting fleet is based in Nimes, Southern France. This region is known for its dry weather and strong winds, blowing to up to 120km/h ! These 2 factors make wildfires particularly dangerous and difficult to control. The Sécurité Civile highly relies on aerial firefighting thanks to its fleet composed of CL-415 Superscoopers and modified Bombardier Dash-8 Q-400.
